The Special Annual General Body Meeting (AGM-V) of the Alumni Association was held on 09.05.2026.
The members unanimously resolved to enhance alumni engagement and build a more vibrant and collaborative alumni network. They recognized the significant role that alumni can play in supporting the institution’s mission and contributing to the success of current students. The members agreed to encourage greater alumni participation in academic, professional, and co-curricular activities by sharing their industry knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
The discussion focused on creating opportunities for alumni involvement in student mentoring, career counseling, skill development programs, internship facilitation, placement support, entrepreneurship guidance, and industry–institution interaction initiatives. The members also emphasized the need to strengthen communication channels with alumni and organize regular events that would promote networking, knowledge exchange, and long-term engagement.
In addition, the members highlighted the importance of utilizing alumni expertise in curriculum enrichment, research collaborations, and institutional development activities. They expressed their willingness to contribute towards enhancing the employability, leadership qualities, and professional competencies of students through various alumni-led initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Secretary of the Alumni Association. The Secretary conveyed heartfelt appreciation to all the participants for their valuable inputs, enthusiastic involvement, and commitment to the objectives of the Alumni Association. The meeting ended with a collective resolve to work together towards strengthening alumni relations and contributing to the continued growth and excellence of the institution.
